Pasukan Perdamaian Dari Seluruh Dunia Rayakan Hari International UN Peacekeeper Day
BUNIA, CARIBERITA – Satgas Indo RDB XXXIX-F Monusco turut berpartisipasi dalam acara memperingati International UN Peacekeeper Day yang dipimpin oleh Northern Sector Commander Brigadier General Monzurul Alam, BSP, PBGM, ndc, afwc, psc, M.Phil. bertempat di Ndromo Supercamp, Bunia, DRC. (29/5/2024)
Dua puluh sembilan Mei selalu menjadi hari yang spesial bagi Pasukan Perdamaian di seluruh dunia dalam merayakan International UN Peacekeeper Day untuk menghormati jasa para peacekeeper yang selama tujuh puluh enam tahun telah menjaga perdamaian dunia dibawah naungan Perserikatan Bangsa Bangsa (PBB).
Upacara ini merupakan upacara rutin setiap tahun, untuk memberikan pengakuan atas pengorbanan, keberanian dan dedikasi para pendahulu prajurit perdamaian yang bertugas di Republik Demokratik Kongo. Dalam menghadapi tantangan yang kompleks, para Peacekeeper tanpa lelah untuk melakukan dialog, mediasi dan solusi damai untuk mendukung stabilitas yang berkelanjutan di Republik Demokratik Kongo.
Pada Upacara tahun ini Satgas Indo RDB XXXIX-F Monusco berkontribusi dalam pengerahan pasukan upacara dan penanggung jawab bidang konsumsi. Hal ini dijadikan kesempatan oleh Satgas Indo RDB XXXIX-F Monusco dalam memperkenalkan kuliner Indonesia seperti Bakwan, Perkedel, Ubi dan Roti goreng.
Satgas Indo RDB XXXIX-F Monusco mengucapkan terima kasih kepada para Peacekeeper pendahulu yang berjuang demi perdamaian dan keadilan di seluruh dunia. Pengabdian mereka memberikan inspirasi bagi kita untuk terus berupaya membangun dunia yang lebih baik bagi generasi mendatang.
