Pasukan TNI Polri Gerak Cepat Lakukan Evakuasi Korban OPM
INTAN JAYA, CARIBERITA – Pasukan gabungan TNI-POLRI Satgas Nanggala Kopassus melakukan operasi perebutan cepat untuk mengembalikan situasi keamanan di Distrik Homeyo Kabupaten Intan Jaya dan berhasil mengevakuasi jenazah Almarhum Alexsander Parapak, remaja yang tidak bersalah dan tidak berdosa tersebut.
Hal tersebut disampaikan Panglima Komando Gabungan Wilayah Pertahanan (Kogabwilhan) III Letjen TNI Richard Tampubolon yang memberikan informasi sekaligus update situasi Distrik Homeyo Kabupaten Intan Jaya, Sabtu (04/05/2024).
Sebelumnya, OPM pimpinan Keni Tipagau melakukan penyerangan pada tanggal 30 April 2024, kelompok OPM tersebut melakukan aksi brutal dengan melakukan tembakan ke kompleks Polsek Distrik Homeyo serta melakukan aksi-aksi sporadis dengan melakukan pembakaran satu SD Inpres, dilanjut melakukan pembakaran empat rumah masyarakat.
Puji Tuhan kerja keras dari pada perajurit-prajurit dan tim kecil Nanggala tersebut dalam waktu 20 menit berhasil menduduki Distrik Homeyo meskipun pada saat akan landing mendapatkan tembakan-tembakan dari kelompok-kelompok OPM, Kita akan terus berupaya mengembalikan situasi keamanan tersebut dan tadi pagi kita berhasil menggunakan Heli TNI mengevakuasi jenazah Almarhum, remaja yang tidak bersalah dan tidak berdosa atas nama saudara Alexander tersebut,” ungkap Pangkogabwilhan III.
Lebih lanjut, Letjen TNI Richard Tampubolon memberikan informasi terkini Situasi yang sudah kembali berangsur pulih dan mohon doanya untuk perajurit -perajurit yang bertugas di lapangan.
