JAKARTA, CARIBERITA – Sebanyak 6 remaja diamankan oleh Tim Patroli Perintis Presisi Polres Metro Jakarta Barat di Jalan Kebon Jeruk Raya, Jakarta Barat, pada Minggu, 2/6/2024 sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB. Dalam penangkapan tersebut, petugas juga berhasil menyita berbagai senjata tajam, termasuk golok dan cocor bebek.
Kasat Samapta Polres Metro Jakarta Barat, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto, menjelaskan bahwa Tim 1 Patroli Perintis Presisi sedang melaksanakan patroli untuk mengantisipasi gangguan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat (guantibmas) Saat itu tim menerima informasi tentang sekelompok pemuda yang hendak melakukan tawuran sambil membawa senjata tajam di wilayah Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat.
“Segera setelah menerima informasi tersebut, Tim Patroli Perintis Presisi langsung bergerak menuju lokasi. Setibanya di tempat, tim mendapati sekelompok anak muda yang sedang berkonvoi dengan kendaraan bermotor sambil menenteng senjata tajam,” ujar Agung Julianto saat dikonfirmasi, Minggu, 2/6/2024 menjelaskan, Tanpa menunda waktu, Tim Patroli Perintis Presisi segera melakukan pengejaran dan penangkapan terhadap para remaja tersebut.
Dalam proses penyisiran dan penggeledahan, petugas berhasil menemukan beberapa senjata tajam yang mereka bawa.
“Kami berhasil mengamankan 6 remaja beserta senjata tajam yang mereka bawa. Senjata tajam yang kami sita antara lain golok dan cocor bebek,” tambah Agung Julianto.
Para remaja dan barang bukti kemudian dibawa ke Polsek Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat, untuk diproses lebih lanjut.
Penangkapan ini dilakukan sebagai langkah pencegahan terhadap potensi tawuran yang dapat membahayakan keselamatan warga setempat.
“Langkah cepat dan sigap Tim Patroli Perintis Presisi ini menunjukkan komitmen kami dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di wilayah Jakarta Barat. Kami akan terus melakukan patroli rutin untuk memastikan situasi yang kondusif dan aman bagi masyarakat,” tegas AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto.
Masyarakat diimbau untuk terus berperan aktif dalam menjaga keamanan lingkungan masing-masing dan segera melaporkan ke pihak berwenang jika mengetahui adanya potensi gangguan keamanan.
Situasi Jakarta Barat yang aman dan nyaman ini tidak terlepas dari kerjasama antara masyarakat dan aparat kepolisian yang terus bersinergi demi terciptanya ketertiban dan keamanan di Jakarta Barat.
