Panglima TNI Terima Gelar Kehormatan Adat Melayu Kepulauan Riau
KEPULAUAN RIAU, CARIBERITA – Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto menerima penganugerahan gelar Kehormatan Adat Melayu Kepulauan Riau, bertempat di Gedung Daerah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau Kota Tanjung Pinang Kepri, Selasa (28/5/2024).
Prosesi penganugerahan gelar ini didasari usulan Gubernur Kepri Ansar Ahmad yang disetujui oleh Ketua Umum LAM (Lembaga Adat Melayu) Provinsi Kepri, Dato’ Seri Setia Utama H. Abdul Razak Abu Bakar beserta jajarannya yang bersifat melekat selamanya.
Penganugerahan gelar kehormatan Dato’ Seri Satria Bijaya Negara kepada Panglima TNI ditandai dengan pembacaan warkah gelar adat dan dilanjutkan pemakaian selempang, tanjak (topi khas Melayu), pemasangan keris serta tepuk tepung tawar oleh segenap pengurus LAM Kepri kepada Dato’ Seri Satria Bijaya Negara Agus Subiyanto.
Gelar Dato’ Seri Satria Bijaya Negara adalah Anugerah Derajat tertinggi yang diberikan oleh Lembaga Adat Melayu (LAM) Kepri kepada pejuang yang gagah berani dalam mempertahankan kehormatan dan membela kejayaan serta kegemilangan negara.
Dalam sambutannya, Panglima TNI mengucapkan rasa penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada LAM serta zuriat kerajaan Melayu Riau Lingga yang dengan tulus ikhlas menganugerahkan gelar dato’ dan datin kepada istrinya Ny. Evi Agus Subiyanto.
Lebih lanjut Panglima TNI mengatakan gelar adat ini merupakan kemuliaan bagi dirinya, karena di dalamnya terkandung doa dan harapan agar menjadi tuah bagi diri dan keluarganya, warga Kepri dan Indonesia pada umumnya.
“Walaupun gelar ini terasa berat, namun saya dan keluarga akan tetap menjunjung tinggi karena gelar adat ini adalah sebuah kehormatan sekaligus amanat bagi saya pribadi dan keluarga,” pungkas Panglima TNI.
